Kanaka wins his fourth color championship at 2007 TXOLAN Spectacular. At 27 months of age, Kanaka bested 33 other entrants in the Male Medium Fawn classes to win the championship. Judge Charlene Friedman stated “This boy has it all, character, density, staple length, consistency, and fineness. I noticed him as soon as he walked in the ring; he has a true Macho presence".
Kanaka was awarded the 2006 Mid-America Alpaca Show Male Fawn Color Championship under Judge Amy Bliss-Miller. Judge Bliss-Miller commented that it was his fineness and uniformity that placed him ahead of all other competitors.
Kanaka was awarded the 2006 MOPACA Dark/Medium Fawn Color Championship. Senior judge Jude Anderson stated; “There really was no question, I noticed this guy as soon as he walked in the ring. He has a sturdy frame and good size. When I opened his fleece, it is uniform from his neck right the way to his tail. This young male has all the qualities I am looking for including uniformity, density, and fineness".

Kanaka won the Light Color Championship at 2006 Southwest Regional Alpaca Show, besting 17 light colored males in the light, light fawn, and beige classes.
